TBD Design Studio designed an extremely airy and outlandishly white penthouse in Manhattan, New York. This West Village Penthouse is an utter contrast to the bustling city of New York. Predominantly, adorned by pearl white, this apartment offers a calm and congruent space.
Features of Village Penthouse
The living room maximizes the window area to get to the sunlight. Besides, the ceiling of this area has small arches that add depth to space. On the other end is a cosy rocking chair with a modern side table. This all-white interior design is an epoch of tranquillity. Heading to the kitchen, one will find a crisp looking space with all-white shiny modules. Moreover, an island divides the space mutely while doubling-up as a breakfast table.
On the centre, is a dark walnut wood partition that demarcates two bedrooms and bathrooms. Therefore, it adds a perfect contrast to the otherwise white interiors. The dining table is designed in the same dark wood finish which cohesively decorates the room. Also, a light-weighted staircase topped by a skylight brings the sunlight in. The layout of this penthouse is smartly designed to bring the maximum natural light inside. This accentuates the architectural elements of the house.
The has unique arched windows that look vintage yet serene. The same arches are translated on the bedhead wall and brings a harmonious look. Juxtaposing these arched windows is the industrial light fixtures that add charm to space. All the white painted walls, camouflage the wardrobes. Whereas the furniture items have a wooden finish that accentuates the features.
